From breathtaking architecture to culinary highlights to Hamburg’s famous nightlife – we have something for everyone!
We call ourselves “Elphen”, we guides who tour around the Elbphilharmonie. You can call me
but you can also call me Anna (Pasieka) 😉
After trying out a few other professions, I realized that they didn’t really suit me.
didn’t really suit me. Finally, in 2011, a fresh breeze blew me to Hamburg
to study acting. A great stroke of luck, I think today! The “most beautiful city
in the world” and finally a profession that suits me! Today I also teach acting.
With tour guiding, I turned a hobby into a profession in 2017.
I had already guided friends and family extensively through Hamburg.
As I not only love to eat :-), but also worked happily in the hospitality industry for many years
I particularly enjoy culinary tours.
Hafen City is my hobbyhorse, but my curiosity for more tours in other parts of the city is growing.
other parts of the city is growing. So who knows where else I’ll be meeting up soon…
Hamburg has been my great love for 40 years. Why? Because the city has everything you could want from your love. It is as surprising as the storm surge that washes over the paths I have just walked with my guests. It is beautiful, for example, when the lights go on in the harbor during ‘Blue Hour’. It is as colorful and diverse as the residents, who are “born”, “native” or newcomers to Hamburg with a wide variety of roots. It is exciting because you can never capture everything that is going on in Hamburg at the same time. It never gets tired of what you can experience at 4 a.m. in Erikas Eck, where night owls and shift workers eat the best sandwiches in town. It’s full of contrasts…..
I could go on and on like this. But I should tell you something about myself! I’ve already revealed quite a lot: after all, what better way to describe yourself than by talking about what you love. And my favorite pastime? Quite simply: I like to show others ‘my’ city so that they can see, hear, smell and feel what I love so much.
I look forward to seeing you.
Hi there,
I’m Christian. I’m actually a student, but because I enjoy working in the fresh air and with other people so much, I’ve been a city guide since January. I moved to Hamburg two years ago, but I’ve got to know Hamburg very well myself and as a student I know what’s going on in the city. I really enjoy being out and about as a city guide and always meeting new people and experiencing something new. Whether it’s spontaneously meeting Tim Mälzer on a tour or exploring the empty streets of Hamburg for 3 hours in the rain. I mainly do the culinary Schanzen tour and enjoy guiding my guests through the party crowd on Saturday evenings when the sun goes down. I’m already looking forward to my next tour with you. Until then!
Hello and hello
Elia is my name. A Swiss Frisian in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
As a trained travel agent and actor, it was clear to me that I would earn my living as a tour guide.
I’m the best Swiss tour guide in St. Pauli, the only one. So I’m one of a kind. You haven’t seen it.
Make a wish,
come around,
with me,
Elia
Out of love for the city…
…I love showing our visitors both the well-known highlights and the surprises that this beautiful metropolis has to offer.
As I was born in Hamburg, my heart beats especially for this great place! And so, in addition to my full-time office job in e-commerce, I use every free minute to wander through the city districts with our visitors – almost like friends – and experience a lot.
Preferably at the harbor. And around the Reeperbahn. As I’ve already partied through many a night on the notorious party mile myself, I now know numerous bars and clubs. So I can organize the ideal tour together with my guests.
I particularly like the fact that Adventure World Tours has really great guests. A great, friendly relationship develops very quickly on the tours and you spend the hours relaxed, easy-going and having a lot of fun – sometimes well into the night!
Hi there,
Even as a southern German, you quickly get used to the Hamburg “Schnack”.
I used to travel mainly in North Africa as a tour guide, but now I feel very much at home in the north and have done for over 30 years. And I’d love to show you how beautiful some of the places here in Hamburg are.
Speicherstadt and Hafencity are my favorites – it’s just super interesting to stroll from the past into the future here. I’ll tell you facts, figures and background information, as well as exciting stories that are sure to amaze you.
And then, of course, I’ll take you to our highlight here in Hamburg, the “Elphi”, the Elbphilharmonie, the city’s new landmark. You’ll get to know and love it with me, I bet! Just come along and book a tour with AWT – Adventure World Tours – I look forward to seeing YOU!
As a Hamburg “Deern”, I moved out into the big wide world at a very early age. I love getting to know new countries, people and cultures and have 35 years of experience in the tourism industry. But for me, the most beautiful city in the world is and remains my home city of HAMBURG.
With a lot of joy, commitment and humor I will show you all the highlights of Hamburg, but especially the “hidden little secrets”, curious places with an extraordinary history.
My aim is for you to feel completely at ease on your tour with me, to have fun and to take many lasting impressions home with you.
I look forward to seeing you!
I’m Isabel and I’ve wanted to move to Hamburg ever since I was a teenager. How good that I have now been able to fulfill my dream for the third time.
My CV is colorful and at every job interview I’ve had so far, I’ve always been curious to find out “who’s coming”.
Whether as a flight attendant, make-up artist, animator or stand-up comedienne,
I love putting a smile on people’s faces and never tire of learning new things.
My life hasn’t always been all fun, but the nice thing is that in hindsight you can laugh about everything and that’s what makes life so beautiful.
Guiding you through this beautiful city is a real pleasure and I am grateful for so many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting through Adventure World Tours.
Here’s to the next few years! Cheers!
My name is Julia and I mainly do the city tours in St. Pauli. I was born and grew up in wonderful Hamburg. What can I say – once Hamburg, always Hamburg! In addition to the tours, I’m also a trainer and look after our trainees. In 2020 I will finish my tourism studies and then actively support the team at Adventure World Tours as an office assistant.
If you want to find out more about me or where you can collect the best, unforgettable memories and experiences in Hamburg, then come along and we’ll make the city unsafe together!
And don’t worry if it should “rain”: In Hamburg, it’s only rain when the herrings are swimming at eye level!
See you then, Julia
Hello there,
Welcome to the most beautiful of all cities, the city of many rivers, canals and unique history. The city in Europe with the most bridges and the nicest people. Venice of the North, if Venice is the Hamburg of the South.
But now to me: I’m Fynn, I’m currently studying social work and have long wanted to live in Hamburg one day. I was born and grew up in northern Germany, but only found my way back here a few years ago. It drove me far out from Berlin via Magdeburg to New Zealand. I love traveling, which I have done extensively in recent years. Of course, I prefer to surround myself with relaxed and interesting people, luckily there are a lot of them here in Hamburg, which is why I don’t want to leave for a while.
I’m looking forward to showing you the long, exciting and a little spooky history of Hamburg’s neighborhood on a Reeperbahn tour.
I’m Kenan, but people also call me Kenny. I came here to Hamburg 4 years ago to fulfill my dream of becoming an actor. I then simply tried to realize this wish. Yes, what can I say, I am actually a trained actor.
I like to walk around here in Hamburg to explore new things and to learn a little about what’s happening here in Hamburg and to always be up to date. There are two things I love and that is Hamburg and I also love talking to people.
So please bring topics of conversation to our next blind date. … Yes, it’s no longer a blind date for you but for me, in that sense, see you on the tour. I hope I was able to catch you a little and put a nice smile on your face. Sayonara!
Hello dear guests,
I first came into contact with the St. Pauli district in the early 1960s when my father took me to FC St. Pauli home games. I still go to (almost) all home games of this club today.
For over 50 years, I’ve been able to experience all the developments and changes in this exciting part of town and was also able to visit the Star Club at the end of the 1960s, where the Beatles began their legendary career in Hamburg.
So you are in good hands with me for a guided tour of the neighborhood.
I look forward to seeing you on our exciting and fun tour of the Kiez!
Klaus
Hello my future guests,
My name is Lara and I’ve been here at Adventure World Tours since the beginning of 2020.
As befits a real Hamburg girl like me, I am very proud of my home town. I’m not just content to enjoy it myself, but am always happy to show it to my guests. This is especially true of the Hafencity and the Speicherstadt, which have really grown on me. When I’m not giving tours, I study energy and environmental technology here in Hamburg.
I’m already looking forward to getting to know you. 🙂 So, just get on the next train to Hamburg, visit me on my next tour and I’ll show you exciting places and sights!
With that in mind:
See you soon in the most beautiful city in the world!
Hello adventurers! My name is Luca and I am an actor in Hamburg. I was drawn to the metropolis on the water by curiosity and artistic opportunities.
I was immediately captivated by the charm of old buildings and modern projects. For me, giving city tours is an opportunity to reveal hidden places, to lead people into a humorous situation in Hamburg’s weather or simply to let my soul dangle in quiet moments.
It is important for me to relate art to the city, so that knowledge and traditions from different areas can meet in the tours and the guests and I are also enthusiastic at the end. What I love most as a city guide are the guests and, above all, the places they come from. Everyone brings a unique story with them and in return you get a unique tour. I look forward to meeting you.
See you very soon!
Moin Moin dear ones!
I was born as Mona and as Mona I am out and about in Hamburg. Whether on the Kiez, in the Speicherstadt or around the world of musicals and theater.
I’m actually a trained actress and yes, I’m sometimes the center of attention. But not always on purpose. Yes, I am quite loud and laugh a lot and often. I love Hamburg and the people here (except for those who talk to me when I get up in the morning).
Brevity is the spice of life: I’m looking forward to our blind date! Although you already know what I look like 😉 See you on the next tour. Hasta la vista!
Sandra, oldie but goldie. Hamburger Deern, grew up in St Pauli. Cheeky mouth but a golden heart. Family manager in her private life. I love my home town, it has so much to offer. And I always like to show that to our guests.
St Pauli runs like a red thread through my life, which is why I particularly enjoy traveling there and reporting on personal experiences, special encounters and the transformation of St Pauli over the last 50 years. I’m lively, extroverted and love to talk, so the job as a guide is made for me!
Hello, hello Hamburg, my pearl, I love you so much…
What a declaration of love for the most beautiful city in the world. Elbe, harbor, Alster, Hafencity, Speicherstadt – I could go on forever.
But that’s nothing compared to my St. Pauli.
My name is Stephan and I’m actually a typical Hamburg bourgeois. I’m married, have two grown-up sons, live in a small detached house and work for the Red Cross at Hamburg Airport.
But when the evening comes, Stephan the philistine becomes Stephan the Paulian.
When I meet my guests, we are still strangers, but after two hours of strolling through the hottest district in the world, my St. Pauli, we are more, then we are friends.
And then we often continue on to the Greek restaurant in Davidstraße, or pizza at Hans-Albers-Platz, or to one of the countless quaint pubs, or one of the best clubs, or, or, or…
Let’s make my St. Pauli our St. Pauli. I look forward to seeing you!
Hello and hello, Timo is my name. I didn’t grow up in Hamburg, but I did grow up in the immediate vicinity. As a budding musician, I’ve always been fascinated by St. Pauli in particular.
There is a tolerance and diversity of people here like almost nowhere else in Germany. It’s a wonderful place for me to develop freely and realize myself – whether on stage or as a party guest.
Of course, there are also some rather stressful people here, but let’s be honest: where can you not find them? Should we be disturbed on our walk through the Reeperbahn, don’t worry, conflict-free communication is one of my strengths 😉
Hi there!
My name is Petra, a cheerful child born in Düsseldorf.
My mother was born in Hamburg.
My father from the Middle Kingdom.
And if you now think that I also give tours in Chinese, I’m sorry to disappoint you.
I can’t do that at all. My mother tongue is German.
As a musical actress, I have performed on many stages in Germany.
And thanks to my passion for music, I’ve rocked many a stage as a guitarist, keyboardist and singer.
But a fleeting trip to the Rote Flora, Kampnagel or Schmidts – Tivoli Hamburg and the love for the city became stronger to stay.
So I learned something “decent” and became a travel agent.
Hey, now let yourself be enchanted by my fascinating city of Hamburg, my pearl!
Sometimes a stiff breeze blows and sometimes you meet a stubborn fish head.
But all in all: butter on the fish!
Come along and join me on these culinary and adventurous tours
in my wonderful city of Hamburg.
I’m really looking forward to seeing you!
Hello, Hello, Buenos Dias, Salut or simply Moin!
I’m Tobi (capital T, small DIY store) and a true Hamburg native who has been washed in all the waters of the Elbe. I love walking through Hamburg and so it was only natural to turn my hobby into a profession 😉
In addition to the highlights of Hamburg, which I get to see again and again, it’s the guests who make the tours so appealing for me, because their colorful mix means that my tours are always entertaining for me too. You never know who is waiting for you and so it is always a balancing act between professor, entertainer and historian at the same time. It’s a challenge, but also a lot of fun!
My aim is for my guests to get involved, which is why I try to make my tours interactive. But don’t worry: the feel-good factor is not neglected. Whether the sun is smiling down on us or we feel like we’re in the rain in Hamburg, my Hamburg is always worth a trip and that’s the core of the message I want to convey. And love, of course 🙂
I look forward to seeing you!
Dear guests, I would like to introduce myself. I am Ute, I love my hometown Hamburg, and it is a great pleasure for me to show guests from all over the world my Hamburg.
Born in 1960 on the Elbe island of Finkenwerder, I grew up in a very rural, quiet and Low German speaking part of Hamburg – bi mi kannst du also ok en beten Platt liern J – but the other side of the Elbe with its urban temptations attracted me a lot when I was a teenager at the latest.
Hamburg was a rough city in the 70s and 80s. I had a wild youth, but I successfully completed my A-levels and studies and worked for many years as a software developer, trainer and coach.
My work as a tour guide is now more or less my “retirement career” – I have left normal office life behind me and am happy to be able to tell you and all Adventure World Tours guests background knowledge and funny stories about Hamburg’s Hafencity, Speicherstadt and Elbphilharmonie. I particularly enjoy the contact with the guests and after a tour where we have laughed a lot again, I go home with a good feeling.
