At home in Cologne!
And it’s been that way for 10 years. As an “Immi”, Cologne has become my new home. This is where my friends are, this is where life happens. I want to stay here.
And that’s why it gives me such great pleasure to show visitors and locals my city. I’m full of my own impressions and experiences that I’m happy to share with others!
Preferably on our food tour in the Südstadt! Between the culinary stations, I enjoy telling stories from the past and anecdotes from the present.
When I applied to Adventure World Tours, I wrote: “I love people!” And it’s still that way today. It is always a privilege for me to show our guests around the city and put a satisfied smile on their faces!
I really appreciate the family structure of Adventure World Tours and our cool boss Mischa. That’s why I like to get involved in training new tour guides.
Dear guests,
My name is Dieter, I was born and raised in Cologne and have lived in what I consider to be the most beautiful city in Germany for over 60 years. It has always been a goal of mine to show guests around the sights of my hometown! Initially on a private basis with friends and acquaintances from all over Germany. What makes Cologne special??? It is the joy of life, the openness and the Rhenish cheerfulness. All of this was born into me and with this foundation I have been working for the company Adventure Word Tours in Cologne for 1 ½ years now and lead my guests from German-speaking countries as an official city guide on the DOM/ALTSTADT tour in a very varied and humorous way Sights of the metropolis with heart and soul on the Rhine!
My name is Hans Peter and I am a true Rhinelander. So that my retirement isn’t so monotonous, I would like to introduce you to the Cologne brewing tradition.
I’m looking forward to a brewery tour with you.
I like being a tour guide because I love my city.
My goal is for my guests to remember the city with a red and white smile 🙂
Many greetings from Cologne
A good-humoured and warm “Get together” from Cologne.
This is Sabine speaking from Cologne. I was born in ’67 and have lived here for more than thirty years. So I know the city and its small and large funny – and sometimes sad – stories. When I’m not traveling as a guide with our lovely guests, I take care of some of the city of Cologne’s issues full-time and of course I can also tell you a few stories about it. Cologne is a great city and has a lot to offer. Especially around the cathedral there are many great corners and a lot to see that even the Cologne “natives” don’t know about. I look forward to showing you this. Of course I can also tell you a lot about the peculiar customs and customs of Cologne. For example, why poor Nubbel has to burn on Violet Tuesday – but is miraculously resurrected every year and much more.
As a native of Cologne, Tanja enjoys showing the different facets of the most beautiful city on the Rhine. The numerous sagas and legends in particular stimulated her imagination in her childhood and have not let go of her to this day. From exploring the city with her father – always with a book of local fairy tales at the ready – to scientific discussions of the beautiful and ugly objects in Cologne, Tanja always has an opportunity to walk through the city with her eyes open.
Because of her love of art and her constant curiosity to decipher the codes of our past and present, she studies art history in Bonn. Despite regular trips to the former federal capital, she always remained loyal to the Rhenish village of millions.
