A combination tour that’s it!
When you are in beautiful Hamburg and want to experience its harbour, why not from two perspectives? Of course, a big harbour tour is an option. Another highlight is the view of the harbour from Hamburg’s landmark, the Elbphilharmonie.
A cheerful tour guide welcomes you at Baumwall and takes you on a one-hour exciting walking tour including lots of background information about the Elbphilharmonie. You stop at various places along the way. Like that you will find out what advantages and disadvantages lie behind the gigantic and time-consuming construction project.
Thanks to the Tube, the longest curved escalator in the world, we see the harbour from high above and head to Störtebeker, where there are more exciting stories and a delicious Franzbrötchen. After the guided tour, if there are no more questions, you can spend more time on the Plaza. Or you can head off to the second highlight of the tour. The big harbour tour starts at St. Pauli Landungsbrücken. A variety of boats regularly leave for trips until the early evening.
You decide how you want to end the combination tour: on a saloon ship or on a traditional barge. Let yourself be surprised. Sit back and feel the typical Hamburg breeze. Meanwhile, the skipper will entertain you with live commentary. You get to see so much in a very short time: the container ship port and the Speicherstadt (depending on the tide!) are particularly impressive. A ride to enjoy! -
