During the Old Town tour you will rediscover hidden and well-known gems of Hamburg’s history. We visit the baroque interior of Hamburg’s most important building with the five majestic organs and listen to the Michel’s Millenium Bell. Just around the corner are the Krameramtsstuben, where you can discover life in the 17th century. Enjoy the view of the Fleete, Hamburg’s waterways and the venerable houses on Deichstrasse and take a look into the rooms of the Althamburger Bürgerhaus.

On the way to Hamburg City Hall we come across the former main church of St. Nikolai. We reach the castle-like town hall via the Trostbrücke, which originally connected the episcopal old town with the count’s new town. We also pay a visit to the inner courtyard and the hallway in Hamburg City Hall and hear many anecdotes about Hamburg politicians and traditional customs. Finally, we admire the ruins from the 12th century.
