On the wall on the prowl…
I’m waiting for you here, at the Wall Memorial.
My name is Birgit, I am a tourism clerk. As a true Berliner, I’ll tell you about the people who lived here in the shadow of the Wall on Bernauer Strasse, in divided Berlin. Everyday stories want to be told, so the past can be experienced and felt.
I look forward to you!

Welcome to the world district of Kreuzberg 🙂
My name is Natalia, I moved here like so many people in the area and I bring with me all the naive fascination that a newcomer can have for this lively and romantic city. In addition to the adventures I experienced, I am interested in the seemingly impossible story that was written in this city. That’s why I love learning new things about Berlin alongside my studies.
Come with me, I’ll show you how exciting it is here!

I am Christian and a child of this city. I was born here in the year the Wall was built and grew up in the eastern part of the city. That’s why I’ve known divided Berlin since childhood, experienced longing and oppression in the East and can therefore also speak from my own experience. This also applies to my family, which was separated by the wall and only really came together again in 1989. And I was there when the border opened and experienced this exciting time. That’s why I’m always happy to tell others the story of the Wall and walk along the Wall path with them. With me you will also experience the history of the last church that stood in the wall until 1985 and was then blown up. So I’m happy to be able to support you for two hours on the Berlin Wall Trail.

My name is Kathrin, but people usually call me Katta. I am a true Berliner, was born in West Berlin and grew up there. By the way, it’s really rare in Berlin to meet a real Berliner!
I have already traveled around the world a lot and am now bringing the world to Berlin by offering tours for guests from near and far. I can only recommend the Kreuzberg culinary tour. It simply offers everything: excitement, history, harsh contrasts, an original Berlin neighborhood and delicious food!
