Experience an exciting search for clues along the former route of the Berlin Wall. Together with our qualified guides, you will immerse yourself in a special chapter of German history for two hours: It is August 13, 1961, a day that will change the fate of millions of people – because today the Soviet occupying power closes the borders to the zones of the other victorious powers. West Berlin is finally isolated, an island in the middle of the GDR.
On this tour you will cross the border! With your well-informed and dedicated tour guide, you go on a kind of journey through time: You will visit the original sites and your tour guide will tell you about the reality of this bygone era in exciting, romantic and sometimes tragic anecdotes.
We will visit the following historical places:
- The former ghost train station Nordbahnhof (at the meeting point)
- A church blown up on the death strip
- A rye field with symbolic character
- Bernauer Strasse, a tragic celebrity
- Tunnel 57
