Description
If you visit Hamburg, you have to experience Hamburg from the water!
-
Explore the pearl of the north on a harbour tour and go on a boat trip like an old Hamburg sea dog!
From the jetties we head into the harbour area. The first view from the water towards land is impressive, not only in the dark with the illuminated “skyline”. Suddenly you see the hustle and bustle along the banks and at the fish market from a completely different perspective. When boating along the waterways and narrow canals you could almost become a bit claustrophobic.
We keep on boating under bridges and soon the fact that Hamburg has more bridges than Venice becomes obvious. A little way down the Elbe there is a great view of the Elbe beach and the Blankenese residential area. Sometimes in wintry solitude, sometimes full of sunbathing people. A highlight of the tour is, of course, the entrance to the container port. If you feel the barge being quite big in the narrow canals, that’s changing rapidly here. Next to huge container ships, you feel more like in a toy boat that has escaped from Hamburg’s miniature wonderland.
No matter whether day or night, winter or summer, Elbe or Alster – would you like an individual barge trip all to yourself? No problem! We organize the very special event for you. The charter price depends on the type and size of the ship as well as the length and the time of the tour Prices vary depending on the time of year and the season. Service and catering on board is possible.
